Purpose: Understand the diverse responses we have to intermittent fasting.
- Question: Why do some people have a positive experience with fasting and others do not?
- Your Time Commitment: 4 days (1 hour each visit) (The 24 hour fast starts on Day 2)
- Benefits: Learning more about your health. $50 cash compensation
- Potential Risks: a 24 hour fasting period may induce feelings of fatigue, irritability, and light headedness
- You can participate if you are 18 years or older, are NOT underweight, are NOT pregnant/breastfeeding, and are NOT mandated by a physician/dietitian to avoid fasting
